Today is Labor Day: a United States holiday mourning the end of summer, marking the last weekend for cookouts, and celebrating the economic and social achievements of workers around the country. Just a remind to everyone that Monday, September 4th, 2006 is
an official company holiday.

Please check in with your manager to see if you will be able to
have the day off. No one should assume that they have the day
off without prior approval from their manager.
