By the way, I oppose deletion of that folder. |

And the great thing about having NaN amount of money is no matter how much you spend you always have NaN left so it essentially endless. |

My guess is the offensive word was "twink". This is why non-space sensitive, excessive in scope banned-words-lists are BAD!

Bring back Mandatory Fun Day!

Here's a tip for you: If you are thinking about creating a "profanity filter" - STOP. You're welcome.

"permission from Everyone" means the ACL of folder is fucked up. Good luck.

Irish Girl?! Where?? I'm going into Irish Girl withdrawl :( |

CAT NUGG means "catering nuggets" on a KFC invoice - to get eight you need to ring them up like that.

re: [redacted, profanity]
From Wiktionary: 3 (countable, US, derogatory, slang) An Asian person who dresses, acts and speaks according to Caucasian stereotypes rather than Asian ones (from the “yellow” outside and “white” inside; compare Oreo (“Black person who acts white”)). That's for the Tee DoubleYou Eye Enn Kay Eye Ee (can't write out racist slang, you know...) Did nobody think to query what an i@v@ice is? |

My guess for the profanity is the ethnic slur inside the word spicy for a person of Hispanic heritage.

Oh come on. The lottery clearly states it has 9 million to give away!
(southern US accent) (no need reading below this line) akismet thinks I'm a bot, but this long line of unnecessary text states otherwise. If I were a bot, I'd actually try and link some website where I was trying to sell something, steal data, install a virus, do all three, or ... something completely unrelated. If you have actually read this far, stop, just go to the next comment. By the way, your server is on fire. Or your router. It could be the DSLAM, but in any case, you'd better go check it just in case. How do I know, I don't, but somebody told me and now that I've made the accusation, the onus is on you to prove me wrong. But if I'm wrong, don't you feel better knowing that your equipment was not, in fact, on fire? I know I would be. So why not get up and check it out... or read the next comment, like you really should have done a long time before getting to this point. It still thinks I'm a bot. go figure. |

All banned-words lists. No need to be specific here. There are no bad words, there are only words which are either ill-defined or misunderstood. |
|
A popular video gaming website once had a profanity filter that also ignored spaces. So whenever anyone on the forums mentioned Yoshi followed by a word beginning with T, the post would be auto-flagged. I'm not sure if they've fixed that yet, but they certainly still have a profanity filter.

TRWTF is I don't see a image in the lotto section,
but if I view the comments page here is what I see at the top: #picture { display: block; width: 650px; height: 149px; background-image: url(http://img.thedailywtf.com/images/12/q3/e23/Pic-3.png); border: none; text-decoration: none; } #picture:hover { background-image: url(http://img.thedailywtf.com/images/12/q3/e23/irishgirl.jpg); } [expand full text] |

Right, but I mean it stands to reason that since Belgium is a super-offensive word, Brussels would at least be somewhat offensive. So I think the behavior of the software is perfectly reasonable. |

If it is what I think it is (but IIRC you couldn't even post if you had a "bad" word), I was quite a bit on the Disgaea forum. The best weapon in that game is a sword called Yoshitsuna. No need to say there were quite a lot of censor-bypasses. |

Now an accurate grammar checker, that would be welcome. |
On Dungeons and Dragons online the filter doesn't like the word "dummy". Unfortunately, there is an in-game object called a training dummy that you can beat up for a temporary buff. "Where are you?" "Bashing the @%#%$". |
|
So how was the cat? Taste like chicken?

I remember a forum where you had to ask for a new p*word if you forgot the old one. |

It would definitely be a bad idea to add the NaN jackpot to your bank account.
|
|
I'm willing to bet the "reserved or prohibited" word on the email is picking up on something stupid.
suchandsuchusername@pricingSELECT.com or some other such nonsense probably related to the database. As for reserved and prohibited words, I say we add some to this forum. Fr1st should be the first word on the list. |

When I visited China a few years ago I learned that KFC is very popular there.
|
Oh I don't know... you could withdraw as much as you like, and the balance would never change! In the really old Amiga game 'Bard's Tale', you had 4 characters. You could attack and kill the character in slot 3. Then with him having 0 gold, go into the shop, and buy something with the 4th (still alive) character. The game would *then* decide to reorder the characters, and subtract the item price from the dead (now 4th) character with zero gold, and poof, you'd have minus 2 billion gold, which was as good as +4billion, I guess. Or something like that. |
