The annual cover price is not a problem, the problem is your price.
If I want a 1 year subscription (12 issues) I will pay $12 the first year.
If I want a 3 year subscription (36 issues) I will pay $28 the first year and every year after that. That is more than double the price.

With this, I know I will simply buy a 1 year subscription and do that for the next three years paying only $36 total instead of $84 total.

My parent's place is 1 3/4 bath - there is a full bathroom with toilet/sink/shower, a half bath with sink/shower, and a quarter bath in the basement with just a 1920s-era overhead-tank toilet. I'm still kinda confused as to why they used the numeric format they did, but it does sorta make sense.

The real WTF is the weather girl on the BBC. Glam her up a bit, at least. Who the hell is responsible for wardrobe and make up? Sheesh!

No, they're both wrong. Unless you think it's not a problem that the total cover price for 3 years is about 9 times the total cover price for 1 year.
