What other helpful hints does JDeveloper have?
The 2nd is more a bloomer than a WTF...
I think JDeveloper is coming out with their own version of Portal maybe?
I think it's broadband recommended vs non-broadband recommended looking at the font, but an odd way to word it.
The angel food tip makes me want to get JDeveloper. I wonder if they have lasagna tips as well? |
<humor style="facetious">
Obviously Claus Nielsen's brand new Windows Vista laptop comes with a high-efficiency mobile processor. In the absence of a primary battery, the computer runs on the button battery that preserves the CMOS BIOS data and system clock. </humor> |
Batteries not included.

Offbeat tips of the day have been kicking around commercial products since at least the early versions of MS Word. I distinctly recall Word, on startup, advising me to never run with scissors.
Didn't know that about the angel's-food cake, though. |
DAMNIT! I don't have a computer when I view web sites... I always use by BRAIN-O-BOX! Why can't I check out the dodge on my BRAIN-O-BOX?! WHYYYYYYYY???? www.worsethanfailure.com supports BRAIN-O-BOXes...
Hey I wonder if in Zion they ever hit that warning message? I bet it would have been 1000x easier for them and avoided the whole third movie if anyone ever found out about this glitch! |
To be fair, you can look at websites from cellphones, game consoles, and god knows what else these days.
Warning: This will destroy the Matrix. Continue? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. The part where it says "Continue?" is not a proper sentence. This website offends me. I went to university and I drive a BMW...AGRHGHSDA jkhakskdjalkj dsafga asf gasga |

Cakewalk Pro Audio (now Sonar) used to have a tip that read something like this:
Did you know... You can move about the room. 1. Push yourself away from your workstation, then stand up. 2. Turn around. 3. Place your left foot forward, then your right. |
Apparently Claus Nielsen has already spent 8% of the energy available in the AC grid. He's going to receive a *huge* electric bill.
Doesn't make me want JDeveloper. Just makes me want cake. |
No, the cake is delicious and moist. Don't you know anything? There really was cake you know... |

After just getting over pizza envy, now you flaunt your cake at me!!!!
You can't freeze your cake and have it too. |
Last time I didn't receive a piece. I could set the building on fire. |
Perhaps it was the Charger Details which reported the missing batteries?

What's a Dodge Charger? Is it like a phone charger but for a wireless dodgem or something???
Or is it some weird American thingummybob? |
shhh.. it's a D-O-D-G-E...
Captcha: sanitarium - screw you guys, I'm going home |
It's a good thing Claus put it on power saver mode, seeing as he has no batteries.
Think I'll go have some frozen angel food cake with my weighted companion cube. |
In Texas we would say: Warning: This will destroy the Matrix. Y'oant to? |
Claus was running at 92%, although his laptop had no battery.
I feel that way many days. |
It's an automobile, made by Dodge, which is one of the "brands" of Chrysler: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=dodge+charger&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2 |
Didn't you ever watch The Dukes of Hazzard? Sheesh... |

Sure, but to be fair, all these things are computers ;) Computer: "A computer is a machine which manipulates data according to a list of instructions." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computers |

just make sure you're on a computer before following that link.

"Claus Nielsen was surprised to find that, with no batteries present, he was running with 92% of a charge."
Must be one of those "solar powered" laptops...Just don't leave it under the sun for too long, or it will explode. |

It's an attempt to destroy the environment whilst making a few people in Texas and Iraq very rich. |
"Computer Recommended" makes perfect sense. Must be too much content to display on cell phones, etc.
Also, Aluminum foil pierced by a fork on a bed of ball bearings is not microwave safe.
Didn't Claus Nielsen notice the beer can sized capacitor on his device? That's what has the 92% charge. Maybe he tried to drink it? Poor Claus.

as a guy working for an oil company i have to say i like the last one. makes me feel secure about my job.

Just wait until it gets to 100% and discharges all at once, ZAP!. |
Here's another Jdeveloper one. Saved my life once. |
I wonder if the JDeveloper tips are version specific, the one I get is:
Well that is a useless tip. It doesn't mention if it is a dinner or salad fork. |

I remember the scissors thing too! It freaked me out. |
The scissors hint was the first one in the rotation. It enticed users to read the others.
If you don't dry the cake out by over-baking it, it won't crumble, either. If you do, it's not worth eating; just toss it out. |

So, what exactly is the WTF? You type your reply between the opening and closing tags. |

Re: the battery.
Wasn't it plainly obvious that it was set to power saving mode?? Obviously, the computer had been saving up power for when he took the batteries out. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. |
