Hmm, does this $0.00 bill have anything to do with the one trillion dollar bill from The Simpsons?

I bet Peter could save as much as 50 bucks off that $85,190.59/person bid if he went directly to the airline website.

Hopefully Peter has a car waiting for him in Buffalo, because it's a good two-hour drive from Buffalo to Toronto, which can easily rise to three hours if there's a long line at the border.

I live in 60HZ. But some mornings I feel like only 35Hz (and THAT hurts).

NaN, most of the time. Probably 60 when there's no blackout.

Perhaps the zero dollar bill's were all out because someone used them to pay for his flight... you need a LOT of zero dollar bills to pay for that flight!

Maybe there weren't any flights on the route that day (it being a holiday and all) so it quoted him the price to charter an entire jet?

Here's one to think about. If you have a 5 dollar bill, and you want to trade them for zero dollar bills. How many bills would you get?

In 2001, when the Euro was introduced, EDF, the french electrical power distributor, had its billing computer issu a lot of 0.00 E bills because of the conversion rounding and even proceed to discontinue a few accounts before being fixed.

Wow, I actually recognize that 50Hz dialog box; it's a driver for my D-Link webcam. Amazingly enough, even though the driver is six years old, it works perfectly fine on Vista. And that stupid dialog box appears every time I install the driver. Well, it works except for the horrible quality, but it is a six year old webcam, so I don't expect much...

A cash machine has multiple trays and each tray's denomination can probably be configured by the end user. Obviously, one tray is unused so they didn't bother to enter a denomination.

Could the $0 bills be similar to the hacks done at ATM machines? i.e. the ATM is loaded $20s, but the attacker makes it think it's giving ou $10s. If you trick wal-mart into thinking it's giving you $0 bills, and it owes you $1.32 in change, it's just going to spit out bills until the stack is empty, then it'll display that message. Certainly more profitable than just withdrawing twice as much from your bank account.

It really depends how many zero dollar bills there are available for someone to trade.

It would be impossible to have 5 dollars currency value in zero dollar bills, so the trade would likely be for the collectability value instead. That would depend on the number of zero dollar bills ever printed. Looking at Canadian limited edition coins, if there were only 30,000 zero dollar bills ever printed then you might need about nine more five dollar bills.

The $85,000 is to make sure your bags don't get lost in Atlanta.

TRWTF is the Walmart's automated cash register machines ask the customer to insert new cash cassettes.

As for the airline tickets, if I'm paying $85K for airfare the stewardesses had better provide me with... well, let's not say in too much detail what services they'd have to perform and keep this forum nice and work-safe, eh? ;-)

Attempting to do this would likely destroy the universe, so don' try it.

I remember a quote from some physicist (I can't recall who) who said "Black holes are the result of god trying to divide by zero."

I don't see the WTF here. Seriously, have you ever flown out from Canada to the US? It's not worth it. I rent a car, drive over the border, and fly out from Buffalo now, saving upwards of three hundred (thousand?) dollars.
