    Wow, that sign... xxx.xxx.xxx.159 and xxx.xxx.xxx.4... it's a self-anonymizing WTF!

As for the "An error occurred" error, it's really annoying how MFC loves to pop up "The parameter was incorrect" messages when you compile in release mode. (this is for stuff that would generally cause an ASSERT in debug mode) Let one bug slip by and you start getting calls about those parameter incorrect errors, and nobody remembers what they did to make it happen. (What do you mean TRWTF is MFC? At least it's not PHP!)

  • Mike Hunt (unregistered)

+1 for the Mike Cox reference.

(Looks like Oxford - Cowley Rd? The Realtime bus service is notoriously crap - as bad as the buses themselves. Cable thieves miles outside the city managed to cut off the entire service for a week a while back - no redundancy...)

Obviously the due date is for some EU country, where you have to pay by the 4th day of the 14th month. Crazy date formats are TRWTF!

Possible that new bill was replacement for a lost bill? And payment was due to that day. Or then their billing system is just screwed...

If you expected that a certain object would not exist, but when you checked you were able to find it, then "found" would be an error. For example, "save new file with this name". "Error -- file with that name found."

Okay, probably not the case here, but just considering the possibilities.

Your problem is right there. It's called SharePoint Designer.

  • (cs) in reply to Alex Media

But How should it be overcome by?Is there any other method for it?

I'd put money on that error being a 302: Found error returned by the server..

    ^ This

Also, Comcast is just pioneering a new way of screwing customers for additional revenue. Soon everyone will be sending you new bills that are already "past due" so they can collect $$$$$ in late fees. I know my insurance provider would love do that as their bills are always due only a couple of days after I get them.

That's nothing... back on February 29th, my Doctor's office sent my bill to collections. The bill wasn't printed until March 3rd.

And they don't understand why I'm firing them....

Looks more like the London "Countdown" v2 system to me - generally quite reliable since the buses are all GPS-tracked and connected up now.

Working with SharePoint every day, I'd call that message common case. Want to know what went wrong? Just RDP into the server and use SharePoint Log Viewer, silly ...

Hey, you know, it's the MS Office team who did all that.

  • Mike Hunt (unregistered) in reply to MalHT

Looks the same system as the Oxford one then - even with GPS tracking, it's can be misleading and unreliable. Weak points are relying a) on buses not randomly deciding to go out of service to try and get the service pattern restored, and b) the drivers remembering to sign up for their assigned trip at the start.

Several times I've waited 30+ minutes for a bus that was 4 minutes away on the board (on a route with a bus every 8 minutes).

Great, just great. Now we need TRUE, FALSE, FILE_NOT_FOUND, and FOUND.

Thats your alarm hand. Its how you set the bell on top to go off. It goes off when the hour hand lines up with it, in this case: 5:50ish.
