    If a bank said my payment was due on unix epoch, I would be extremely worried. Think of all the late fees, interest and other fees they will pile on. And no, having $0.00 due will not bail you out, as a lot of those fees are absolute, rather than a percentage of amount due. And not paying them for so long causes a lot of interest to accumulate on it. That is terrifying.

    What part of the online signature bit is an 'error'? Clearly they have more signatures than the target - consistent with lots of other ways this is treated online, so whilst not overly elegant, not exactly worthy of an Error'd insert.

    If my bank said my payment was due on unix epoch, I wouldn't pay them as banks can't generally hold anyone to a contract made when the person was under 18 years old.

    Just thought I should mention. I started downloading the file referred to in Polaroid tablet story. 100MB and counting, it's downloading fast (nearly a megabit). If they're reading the comments, they should go try again. It's working fine now.

    Yes, I get that they may have succeeded since then and that's not the point of them posting.

    I remember back when I was just a QC guy they asked me to do a little tutorial so that the users wouldn't ask so many obvious questions, at the time many features weren't available but they wanted them to be included anyways... guess you how it ends

    But think about it. Look how society is today, Facebook has made us way too busy to do anything noble. So, IE4 being crappy may have driven people to do other things, including joining the army.

    So, in some indirect way, they've been responsible for several MoH over the years.

    Seriously, what bank? $1M with Vanguard gets you some valuable perks (a dedicated account manager rather than a call center, access to lower expense funds) but no jet.
