Ey Chris, I forgot my SVN password again. Could you be a doll and reset it for me? Just set it to "gleemonk1" THANKS!

  • JustSomeDudette (unregistered) in reply to gleemonk

Are you sure you don't want it set to hunter2?

  • Chris (unregistered) in reply to gleemonk

If you call me "doll" one more time, I will reset your password to something impossible every 10 minutes for the rest of your time here.

The only WTF I can find is that a develoer gets an accidental job offer that the company didn't indend, gets into a plush job of SCM guru and is left mostly alone.

Where do I sign up for that job offer on a golden tray?

    Apparently at MetLife.

  • Hannes (unregistered)

Sounds like a really nice job. If the pay is decent as well... sign me up!

  • Unhelpful (unregistered) in reply to Hannes

Remember, you have to fail the interview for a different position to get this job. It's like an annoying videogame, but even less fun, because you don't even know what you'll be doing for money in the end.

Some might say the company is wasteful to keep him on staff for doing essentially nothing. The reality though, is he's probably more valuable than most employees. He's the in-house therapist and a source of sympathy and reason in a corporate hell.

Sorry Nate but I am now a slave to the BBC.

And Tyrone, if you don't answer me, I'll just text Jamal.

As a vendor who "interfaces" ( technically ) with that...."company"...that makes so much sense.

    I drink a lot.

Chris reminds me of Virgil in Dante's Inferno.

    I read "Doghouse" as "Donegal."

Chris is a survivor and sounds like a very sweet person :) He might have his own strengths - like that bread making dude (Hot Pie) in Game of thrones.
