Pirating Windows 10 makes as much sense as pirating Teslacrypt.

Joke's on Eclipse, it's actually called a Crafting Table.

Sometimes, you just need a security blanket when the world is against you.

    Arrrrrr!

Ah, Dave L., they got you! Actually it comes with a "build-in" speaker. Once you truly understand that, all becomes clear.

Charles R. "Orion SolarWinds threw its hands up..." is he refereeing to the '... product evaluation expired.'? For "and then threw up" is he referring to the Firefox's message to restart the browser?

I guess I'm missing the WTF in the Eclipse one.

That's just a spelling error. It's a "Diagnostic Towel" not "Diagnostic Tool" It can tell you if the system is wet, dry, or on fire.

  • (nodebb) in reply to Guest1138

You may be onto something. It might use Soundex or something similar.

"It's a 'Diagnostic Towel' not 'Diagnostic Tool' It can tell you if the system is wet, dry, or on fire."

Indeed. The PC tech who knows where his towel is, is truly the hoopiest of froods.

I'm not at all surprised to see that an arcade game uses Windows.

In the last one, the instruction "Roll over image to zoom in" raises the error to trolling levels... ;-)

Aargh, Microsoft can have it right back at me. I read the month wrong. The next test is scheduled just 99 years and 49 weeks after I shot it.

How did my name get misspelled in autocomplete?

The WTF in the Eclipse one is Java itself.

  • (nodebb) in reply to tharpa

I think the WTF in the Eclipse one was just that an internal error happened while trying to show an internal error, although really that's not too surprising - once an internal error happens, the application is not in a happy state and bad things can be expected.

TRWTF is that in a dialog saying "bad things happened, you should really exit now, if you don't even worse things may happen and we may also just exit on you randomly anyway", the question "do you want to exit?" appears to have a default of "No" (although it's possible the user changed the selection before taking the screenshot).

  • Serb (unregistered) in reply to tharpa

In all honesty, TRWTF is the person even trying to use the steaming pile of horse excrement that is Eclipse. Apart from that, wtf is that it threw an error while trying to show an error. But, that is pretty much Eclipse's normal mode of operation.

  • Serb (unregistered) in reply to LK

TRWTF are people still thinking saying shit like that is cool and making them sound smart.

Most arcade games these days run on PC hardware, either on Linux or Windows Embedded.
