Idiot.
That address is automatically generated by a script on qarchive.org* , (I assume) a clone of download.com . Their actual website is at http://www.visual-paradigm.com , and the product itself is http://www.visual-paradigm.com/product/sde/vs/productinfosdemevs.jsp *It has some pretty good japlish also: "Also we would remind that our web site doesn't allow to get any software that is not checked by our antivirus software." |

Yeah-- you beat me to the real product links. I've actually used Visual Paradigm's SDE (Smart Development Environment), and it's not bad, but I didn't use it as much as I thought I would. I suppose that this is a "crack" that somebody has posted for those unwilling to pay for it? |

Plus, if they intend on emailing you to get your feedback, and the dialog says that your email address won't be used for ANY mailing, then how will they get in touch with you?!

From the page, (with comments):
Released - 2006-12-21 Last Updated - 2006-12-20 (Seems like a strange thing to tell people.) Requirements - (This Visual Studio plugin requires nothing?) Install - Install and Uninstall (This is probably pretty accurate.) SDE-VS Features: +Support UML version 2.1 (New Feature) (Seems like this should have been one of the first features.) +Incremental round-trip engineering (+Meaningless padding for the feature list!) |
|
(Probably tommorow), I'll want settle down, Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on. |
|
I warrant this is the funniest thing I've seen all day (probably tomorrow, too).
|
|
Actually, I like the part about how they want you to leave an email address, but with their absolute assurance that they'll never use it to [e]mail you anything.
I wonder what happens if you put a phone number in that field... |

That obviously can't be the case because it explicitly said that they will not use your email address for any mailings. But they need to email you in order to ask you for your feedback. But they can't because they'll be breaking the rule! *ouch* my head hurts! |

I think mailings means mass mail, while they can still respond to your email without breaking their promise. |
|
And the file is 97 MB! It just can't be that complicated to parse UML from source code...

Was I the only one who read "SDE for Visual Studio (ME) for Windows 3.3 SP3 Modeler" as:
(SDE for Visual Studio (ME)) for (Windows 3.3 SP3) Modeler instead of ((SDE for Visual Studio (ME) for Windows) 3.3 SP3) Modeler like they probably intended? My first thought was that the real WTF was someone downloading software for Windows 3.3. |

This is a funny message and I experienced a similar one when I was updating the Visual Paradigm UML tools for eclipse. In all fairness I e-mailed the company with the correct phrasing and grammar and they were very appreciative and integrated it into the code base :)
Bad grammar but great support. |

When China owns a colony in the UK for 150 years, and returns it making it an SAR in the UK, maybe a software company will be located there. Maybe that software company will put broken Chinese in their product, and 2 billion people can laugh at them.
Failing to have native speakers write the documents and strings used in a product is a WTF. As in What The Fuck, not Wow That's Funny. |

Honestly I thought he was either making an anaemic attempt at irony, or just trolling. Either way: don't rise to it. |

Actually, judging from the style of grammar-mangling, I'd guess this was written by a German. As in "All your base belong to us are". Or Yoda maybe it is.
Anyway, if there's anyone in the world who hasn't seen this one, it's worth a peek. http://www.engrish.com/ |

"All your base belong to us are"
This could happen if the original content was written in a language that follows Object-Verb-Subject grammar and then converted to English without accounting for this fact.(for example, it is acceptable to use Hindi in this format in speech : "apple ate I") Although I have no idea what the original language was in this case. |
