What's on the sisterware link?  My company's content filter refused the
connection because it was deemed "Adult content".  Is there
anything  on that link to be worried about?  Maybe label it
NSFW (Not Safe For Work)?

Either that or my company's content filter is spewing garbage again.  It does miscategorize stuff from time to time

It's probably your filter. I've got a pretty restrictive one, too ... here's the text:

You can (MUST!) freely diffuse and use this program only if credits is given, and the sisterware scheme is satisfied sending me informations, photos or lingerie of your lovely sister! ;-)

God help us if that database is ever used to automatically prescribe medication...

On the "Where do I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?" FAQ I found something slightly amusing:

Apparently at some point their first explanation wasn't good enough, so they had to rephrase it :)

Oh and here's a  better link for the sister ware.  As far as
pictures are concerned, it's safe for work, and text is moderately safe
for work (only slightly racier than thedailywtf).

Leave it up to an italian to come up with the sisterware concept :-D

Hmm, would this hold up in court?

It's always fun to be a smart ass and when a program asks me to "hit any key" I hit the Ctrl or Alt key - which, when pressed, 95% of the programs do not register as a key being pressed.

It's because of people like you that we need this message:

Sorry,
you are late. My sister is married. But don't cry, she is very ugly!"

Hahahaha. Some of the messages are funny, too. :)

Actually I'm now seriously considering such a license with my next free
software. You have to send me a bulk back of GUIDs wrapped in your
sister's panties.

That "how to pick up a Mac" page reminds me a little of cooking recipes, where the final step is "Enjoy!".   I always like that ... it's part of the recipe! .. "Damn... I messed it all up! I forgot to enjoy it at the end!"

Ok, so what happens if you don't have a sister, or your sister(s) are ugly?

Isn't that a kind of checksum? If you didn't enjoy it at the end, you know you got something else wrong?

Either that or you have no taste [:P]

Isn't a Mac heavy enough to need warnings about bending your knees?[*-)]

Then you must ask your parents to fsck again until you have a lovely
sister; but since it takes about 18 more years before you can
legaly trade her for a software license, it might be easier and
faster to look for an alternative software.

Well, I think I'll make a patent on the use of sisters concerning software licenses. It seems a profitable business to me :)

I read this FAQ entry back in the first half of 2002 (I found the link somewhere, I think
it was on userfriendly.org), and there was no "handhelt" in it. I think
that this is the modification.

Tell us how we can improve this specific article.

There are no reasons provided for wishing to move the computer.

It says I can carry it wherever I wish, but I don't know where to wish to carry it.

I found the cables, but not the cords. Are cords also made of plastic and copper?

The cables are too short after having moved the computer. Do you sell longer cables? And cords?

Regarding the FAQ it is important to give the user options. It should read...

Press any key to continue, any other key to escape.
