Wow -- just when I didn't think my opinion Raymond could go any higher.  What a class act!

Seriously - it's like all the sites I read every day are from really cool & nice people.

Holy crap! WTFs at lightning speed. And no more refreshing the page 3 times to get it to load. Awesome stuff.

Thanks for your efforts Alex and thanks to all you MS folks for helping out.

Site's running great for me.  That's super cool for Raymond and others to help you out.  Good people right there.

The fact that this site is running on a Microsoft platform is the biggest WTF of all.

When in doubt, go with what you know.

Unless you want it to be a learning experience.

    WTF? Seriously, WTF?

The "comments" link in my RSS reader now no longer links to the comments.  That sucks.

    Looks good!  Nice software, too.

It will be nice to have a regular user list, this is developing into a pretty fun community.  Also, it will be easier for people to be held accountable for some of their comments !

I think the best part is being able to see which topics have recent comments so that they are not missed!

Keep up the great work, and keep the WTF's comming !

    - Jeff

    Looks good...

I just want to point out that almost all of your recent posts are being double posted in Bloglines.

The new site is great. I like the design too however I think the old site had slightly better organization and I liked the monthly archive and the way I could see the rest of the stuff... perhaps I'm just used of it but to some extent I liked the old one better.

... I reserve the right to change my mind later and especially if you put something similar to the monthly archives on the home page somewhere on the left or some link for it ... something...

However this is still my favorite site and I'd wish to thank again to everyone spending efforts to keep it up and running. You guys are great :)

    Alex --

is editing posts disabled ??  Or am I having trouble finding the button for it?

  • (cs) in reply to Jeff S

Jeff, I think Editing Posts are disabled for now. I may change it to a very small window (20 mins) if possible.

  • (cs) in reply to Alex Papadimoulis

good call -- a small window would be perfect.  just to fix typos.  That's a great feature, if the forum allows you to set a time limit on edits.  Very cool!

The new site is great, and one suggestion to make it even better. It would be awesome to be able to quickly spot the date-ordered WTF, perhaps in the subject line of the post? It is hard to follow on the main level of the forums, especially when somebody posts to an older WTF.. does this post make sense? cheers folks, drew..
