As an employer, it can be a pretty big challenge to figure out what sites are work-appropriate and what ones aren’t. Game sites, news sites, shopping sites: obviously inappropriate and most certainly frowned upon. The company intranet and the company’s public website: appropriate, so long as it’s on your lunch break.
