Is this comment invisible?
Admin
@PaulaBean counts as a commenter? Brillant!
Admin
Thrid!
Admin
Paula gets around... you know? (wink, wink, nod, nod, ok symbol)
Admin
Yes. And best of all, @PaulaBean is always first!
Admin
Two links go to Discourse, two links go to a comment form that submits to a page
notlinked fromanywherethe January 2011 archives.Admin
I am puzzled :punch:
Admin
Whoops! Will fix that link on main page.
Admin
Am I supposed to have that link above my avatar?
Admin
I got that the first time I went to check the comment. The formatting changed it so the Unfeature moved to the upper right.
Oh...and one more thing: Click on it! Can you unfeature yourself?
Admin
It vanished for me.
Admin
Ooh right, it's output cached!
You saw Mark's button. Then, the cache expired, and you got a non-admin view.
Admin
That's a relief. You still shouldn't see it, IMO...unless in theory someone wouldn't want their own comment featured and you could un-feature your own stuff. (weird edge case)
//TODO: turn unfeature into a Cornify link for non-admin users.
Admin
Please tell me that ad wasn't actually from 2011.
Also, the picture links to http://thedailywtf.com/Articles/gumby, which returns 404.
Admin
Sure! DBase is big with all the hipster developer communities nowadays. I hear some have upgraded to DBase IV, but only begrudgingly.
Admin
I was using DBase before it was cool.
Filed under: Can I haz hipster cred now?
Admin
You should change Paula's post to say:
By the way, it's hard as hell to select something ending in a link because your
stupidlink click counter works ON MOUSE UP instead of ON CLICK... meaning when I release my mouse after selecting text ending in a link, it FOLLOWS THE LINK instead of having highlighted the text on my screen.Admin
Also, for some reason the link in my quote even follows the same problem despite it not having a counter on it, but the
link doesn't have the problem.edit: I see why... the Filed under thing is just as;df instead of an http://w link that you auto-"fix" to fsk it all up.
Admin
Just noticed the "@paulabean" link in ben's post also goes to a 404 on the main site. Although not sure how tricky that would be to fix. Possibly when the full migration is done, the problem will go away anyhow, depending on your plan with the domain names...
Admin
in a completely unrelated note - your name makes me think of a Lumbar Puncture. Every time. No exceptions.
is it lupus?
Admin
Yes.
Admin
It's exactly what you are thinking
Admin
What a shocker! Software in 1983 wasn't as advanced as in 2011! Talk about a WTF!
