Even metric hours consist of only 60 minutes, It may however be imperial time?

Nah, that would mean it is not showing the nunes, and even then there are only 15 moments in imperial time... http://blog.forret.com/2004/08/imperial-time-units-here-come-the-nunes/

It must be US military time, as you say ninehundred when it's 09:00 AM: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/theorderlyroom/a/militarytime.htm

    That's zero nine-hundred, maggot.

That's what I think, but the guy says 'thankfully it's 6am...' 19:09 would be 7:09 PM, how the hell does he get 6am from 19:09?

Actually, the clock was programmed to detect slips in the space-time continuum. It was trying to let him know that it was now the year 1989.

In the interests of cyber safety I'm making this post while lying in a low, flat location.

I suggest turning the clock upside down - is that a chess move?

That clock I'd say is reading 14:04 and that the 9 8 and 9 appear only because the camera is seeing the light bleed into unlit areas. To the human eye i'd put money on it showing 14:04 clearly.

  • Dals (unregistered) in reply to Anon

Thanks, Cap! Be sure, that 'metric time' doesn't have a 89 minutes.

  • WilliamF (unregistered)

those types of clocks dont have enough segments to show the "20- 23" times hence the hour is actually invalid for that particular clock. on a more light-hearted note it could be showing the number of minutes past an epoch. (midnight 1.38 days ago) which would make it 9:15 am

Obviously the clock is showing metric time.
    19:89
    Obviously.
  • Anon (unregistered)

It's not a clock, it's a TIME MACHINE, clearly! It's taken you back to 1989!

  • Anonymous (unregistered) in reply to Anon

Even if it's metric time, 19:89 does not make sense..

  • smarterAnon (unregistered) in reply to Anon

Assuming you mean a 24-hour clock, that would mean that the clock thinks it is 7 pm and not 6 am....also. It says 89 minutes. Explain to me how that is possible..

  • they call me lightning (unregistered)

Clearly you've traveled back to 1989.

  • Anonymous (unregistered) in reply to Anon

If you mean 24-hour time, that doesn't have >= 84-minute hours.
