    Actually, doesn't 48 states mean the contiguous 48 states? I would assume that if they say this, they don't have maps for Hawaii or Alaska.

    Well... there are 48 states in US if you don't count Alaska and Hawaii like Magellan didn't. Maybe there's a restriction in their software forbidding white space (Canada and Pacific) in the maps. No WTF there what so ever.

    Does no one understand what it means by the 48 United States? It's referring to the contiguous ones, people. It simply doesn't have maps of Alaska or Hawaii.
