    Well, as unchecked checkboxes also do not appear in the list, I would say that it's not really very different at all.

    Yes, I'm several years late, but my inner sense of nitpickiness is forcing me to post in this thread anyway, pointing out that the verb "to call up" has a secondary meaning, "to summon". I have no problem with saying that I'm going to "call up" Google, by which I mean "request that it show itself to me". Perfectly reasonable.
