Authentification is a thing - https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/7844/is-authentification-a-real-word
Admin
The first one might be a misguided nearly-right translation from French, where the word actually is authentification.

Never seen a classic error’d. Someone out of the office for reasons or is this a holiday I’m not aware of?
Admin
Dutch and German too.

Non-responsive but closed after a couple of minutes? It was probably inefficiently waiting on a background process to terminate.

This was my thought too, unless that was actually an existential dialog pondering whether the authentification of the human condition is warranted by current events.
In which case, the next dialog to pop up would have been "Why is this happening? What is the meaning of life? Why are we on this earth?"...

I had to spend a solid minute thinking and VERY CAREFULLY re-reading it until I figured out what the problem was. Yes, I'm Latvian. 😆

"Remember this decision?" sounds like one of those mails you get when you log in from unknown devices. "You logged in from Staine on March 3rd, 1998. Remember that?"
Admin
I don't understand what's wrong with "authentification". Been using that word (in the context of ensuring that the person logging in is the person it's supposed to be) for at least 20 years. Anyone care to share what they think it ought to be?
Admin
"Authentication" is the usual term for that definition.
