    The only solution I see is launching the boss into space at relativistic velocity so he only experiences 20 minutes passing until Jackie returns from vacation, pushes her changes, and the build runs. (bringing him back to Earth optional)

    I'd be slightly miffed that Jackie had gone on vacation without pushing the work in progress to a branch. Let's hope she doesn't get burgled while she's on holiday.

    "Matt checked the Github to see if something went wrong with the automated build." - The Github? THE Github? Why? Did the Google order this? Are there dishwashers in the cloud? Can Scotty beam a fax machine to an island? And do people still answer work-related phone calls or check work email while on vacation? What a futuristic world...

    He was very lucky that she did not push her work. If she had, Matt should have built the stuff within 20 minutes and push to production. Unapproved and untested and unreviewed.

    Well, this was an anticlimactic ending. I was expecting Matt to pull off some miracle.

    It should at least have been pushed to a separate branch to make sure her work could not be lost.
