Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital in NSW, Australia had a similar problem a couple of months ago, except it wasn't detected until 1 newborn baby died and another was left with brain damage.

Nitrous oxide and oxygen lines mixed up.

Depends on security levels. For ordinary office-level stuff, where the maglocks are a convenience, sure. But for high-level stuff, not so much. Physical locks can be picked open. Even having a 'master' magnetic key is a risk in some cases.

And sex while you're in high school. Or maybe that's junior high these days.

"wait for the LAPD to cut the power remotely" and this they will with FirstNet. First responders will have total access and have wearable IT-connected headgear, like Google glass. They will have real-time access and readability of all things online, such as your social media activity, your phone bill, your grid connections (lights, gas, water) and have total control over such. All of this data will be uploaded to the cloud. Oh and it is a corporation, the name is that: FirstNet. Police, fire and so on will answer to a CEO based in Wash. DC. All 9-1-1 calls, data, everything will be housed in the cloud. I am not sure who at first thought this was a good idea. If you don't think this whole thing is possible, the only US state to have not signed the contract yet is Mississippi. . .

When I was a PFY I was help desk and hardware repair. I unboxed a broken PC I got shipped in and without thinking I plugged it into the red socket. I heard yells and curses all up and down the hallway as I realized the power supply had a dead short.
