I am not sure if I should rate this article a Zero or a Frist.
Admin
I think it's more zyronic than anything else.
Although whether that's a portmanteau of zero, Python, or moron is left as an exercise for the reader.

Re: the first one, with the games played thing. Those reverse-slashed zeroes make my teeth itch.
Admin
For the games started/finished, seems it's gathering stats over EXACTLY the last 2 weeks, and if he started a game 2 weeks and 10 minutes ago but finished that game 10 minutes shy of 2 weeks ago, those stats could be accurate.
Admin
Kevin, why didn't you hit the "any" button on the remote?

What is the text that overstrikes S15 to the left of E15? Does it say 0 m?
Admin
...so I guess that the game is actually "Frontgammon", not "Backgammon"
:-P
Admin
What's wrong with the backgammon? One game was in progress when the reporting interval started. Earlier today I had occasion to look at someone's active chess games--and found one started in September. Yeah, possible, the time control was set to 14 days/move. I presume his opponent had only intermittent access to the internet. (If he was the one with the problem I would have known.)

You think it's appropriate to show more games finished than games begun? In what universe is that appropriate?

If you're upset by them then then you'd need to avoid Sweden, where the m⦰⦰se bites Kan be pretti nasti...
Admin
If you try to cash in those reward points, be careful they don’t charge $8,888 to your account instead.

Sweden... Ah The wonderful telephone system And mani interesting furry animals... But one thing it is not known for is zeroes with a backslash.
( I personally miss the lovely IBM 3270 font with the little dot in the zeroes)
Admin
Nah, those are OK because they aren't zeroes.
Admin
The 3270s (strictly 3278s) I used that had that font had it for doing APL work, so I always think of those zeroes as "APL zeroes".

Actually negative points on credit card would not be that unusual! If you have returns credited back to credit card - that does take away the points one would have earned for purchase.
If system would have some way of "estimating" return rate (from past purchase history, merchants etc) - and assuming no new purchases, then negative figure could very well be explainable.
Of course that's giving the card company way more credit (pun intended) than it probably deserves...

thanks for info

In a Universe where a game was started before the reporting period began but finished within the reporting period.

Wow, that Nature screensaver has a lot of photos from the old U-verse STBs. I recognise all but the first one. Had U-verse from 2015 to 2020. I always thought those photos were part of the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV software, but maybe they are AT&T IP.
