Ever since the first Free Sticker Week ended back in February '07, I've been sending out WTF Stickers (and, now mini-buttons) to anyone that mailed me a SASE or a small souvenir. More recently, I've been sending out the coveted TDWTF Mugs for truly awesome souvenirs. Nothing specific; per the instructions page, "anything will do." Well, here goes anything, yet again! (previous: On-ramp to the Information Superhighway).

"I sent you a box of MRE's a while back" wrote Mathew Burden (Apsley, Ontario), "they were not the best tasting and, as much as I enjoyed the video of you eating them and being disgusted, I thought I should send you some of the more enjoyable selecitons. I have also included a variety of computer related junk to round out the box of souvenirs."

Matthew continues, "the MRE 'goodies' include Western beans; Chicken tetrazzini; Clam Chowder; Wild Rice; Pears; Wheat Snack Bread; Cappuccino; Crackers; and 2 Flameless Ration heaters. As for the rest... Various connectors and gender channgers; Memory card reader; SCSI Card; Cisco Call Manager CD's; Old software pins; SIM card unlocker; Windows NT Server CD; Original Palm Pilot and upgrade chip (works); Flash cards, Memory, SLI bridge; Monkeys first know; Royal Canadian Signals Corps cap badge; Rank pins; and finally, 1 Euro because I know you don't like Canadian money.

I'm not sure anyone would use "good" to describe the MRE goodies, but they weren't bad... and compared with Salmiac, they were a delicacy.

"I really hope this is the only time I (or my code) appears on The Daily WTF," writes Tom B (Timisora Romania). "Here are some coins and post-it notes, a health care comic, a wristband, and a a Union Square card, where we can go to drink a beer when you visit Timisoara."

"Here are a few stupid bits'n'pieces from Spain," Luis (Spain) writes, "I know the are not the coolest things ever, but I couldn't come up with anything better." It's not nearly as bad as Salmiac... and I'm certain it would taste better!

"I got this at ConFoo 2011 in Montreal, an event heavily sponsored by Microsoft" writes Sylvain Martel (Quebec, Canada), "I also got a coupon for a free beer at the ConFoo Bar, but I chose to keep it; it's not everyday that Micorsoft buys you a beer!"

"Here are some stickers and a few vintage memory devices," writes Michal Valasek (Czech Republic), "I hope there isn't anything comprimising on them!" I'll let the readers be the judge of that... here's what I found.

Thom Parkin (Orlando, FL) sent some Magic Discs. I tried planting one, hoping it would grow into a frisbee... and then I read the instructions. It was kind of fun... but it was NOT A TOY!

"In addition to some old Commodore stuff, here is a winter-time treat: Bethmannchen, a Frankfurt specialty made of marzipan and halved almonds," writes Dr. Peter Kittel (Frankfurt, Germany), "and some cat-shaped Katjes licorice, which I guess is the German version of Finnish Salmiakki." I should note... the Bethmannchen was delicious, and the Katjes was, indeed, Salmiyuck. I'm thought Germany had food safety laws that prevent this stuff from coming in the country!

William Jackson (Columbus, OH) sent a print out of... Shawn Wildermuth?

Some readers I met at the Tokyo meet-up gave me these Japanese souvenirs; I wish I could remember which of you gave me what, but the night was a bit of a blur after I tried to win at Nomihodai.
