Since it seems like in general mostly just the people that hate it and are unable to ignore it post comments, I'd say it's safe to ignore them. Particularly since the numbers are in the 10's range.

I guess what everyone is saying is that, in order to enhance the characters and the plotlines, you have to take up a code monkey job in a big company. And suffer, god damn it! :)
Now seriously, if you want to better your art I'd recommend this book: Fun With Pencil by Andrew Loomis. It is from the 50s but it's pure gold.

Whoever designed this clearly has some experience in the corporate world. Yes, every company has some system that was written decades ago in a language nobody uses anymore. And yes, if you have even seen the system and give some indication that you know what it's written in, you'll be the expert of it in no time.

TIP: When colouring your line art - set the line art as the top layer (you'll need to change the blending mode) and colour a blank layer beneath it. While you won't be able to floodfill, you'll find areas cover fairly quickly with a mouse and a large-ish brush with much better accuracy and your lines will stay pristine.

Seriously, I feel dirty replying with text here. The poster may have had "Points", but mainly it was that they had too much time on their hands. When I didn't laugh at MFD, I laughed at the comments.

MFD HAS POTENTIAL, but only if you take the time to make it better. it doesn't have to be great, just make it ok - we'll do the rest. but with a strip like 1.24, really: we can't. it's im-fucking-possible. at the other stripes, at least some of the user-generated content was REAAAAALY funny. Not so at this strip. they aaaall suck, like, HARD.

Looks like somebody has been half studying ancient Egyptian Art when it comes to the hands and fingers being the same on the left and right side. All we need now is the goofy profile of the head with the shoulders and chest facing forward. Then at least the strip would have a style instead of copy/paste.
