As a seasoned Java programmer, I can inform you that Java bears the musky stink of shit.
Technology has changed, and Lisp is still better (besides, Common Lisp is more recent than you probably think). TRWTF is non-Lisp programmers bashing Lisp, a distinctly lamer thing to do. Learn it first, try it for a few months, then bash or praise it. (otherwise (zip-it))

Gotcha! This polynomial (FOO_N), if given a number in a certain list (except for the last of course), gives the following number in that list (if given 1, it will give the first), i.e. it's the polynomial interpolation of (1,4); (4,8); (8,15); (15,16); (16,23); (23,42) (minus the rounding errors).

"Y'all" is clearly a contraction of "you all", which would make it plural. "All y'all" simply refers to a large group of people, as opposed to "y'all" which refers to any group of people larger than one.
