Only developers who are Certified Valuable Specialists are even allowed to check in their source code to CVS.
Inspired by the acronym CVS both meaning Croatian Vacuum Society and Czech Vacuum Society, they decided to use the IT equivalent of vacuum, a.k.a. /dev/null, as the location of their source-code repository.
