"a lot of fun to be had in Chattanooga"

Zunesis, I think that's your cue...

    Fear Factor meets programming?

  • (cs)
It's the first (and possibly last) time we'll be doing this, and I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.
You say you're sure, but you don't sound sure.

Real Programmers optimize AES256 in TI-99/4A assembler while being waterboarded!

Sounds more to me like concern about liability... Sure hope nobody dies while trying to prove they're the ultimate programmer!

Sooo - if we already have tickets for DevLink and the associated events, do we get to go to the Bring Your Own Code event as well?

  • Raleigh (unregistered) in reply to Raleigh

Oh, and I'll definitely buy you a beer for a WTF mug.

Yep - the BYOC Live is the attendee party.

While you're in Chattanooga, be sure to check out the Tennessee Aquarium. It's pretty awesome. That, and my sister works there. No, I won't tell you who she is.

This. Dinner on the Chattanooga Choo-Choo would be pretty sweet too.

They're less moderated... I'd normally delete an off-topic/complaining-about-comment-moderation comment.

Fewer people read and respond to the announcement posts.

Sure about that? You must read the comments on these posts mroe thoroughly (or at all) because you never before responded to this kind of accusation by me and you haven't done anything about the hundreds of off-topic, perverse or even seemingly illegal-ish works of adult/child/elderly threesome fiction I post here on a daily basis. (Much like the one removed that prompted me to point this out).

    But whatever.

I'd understand if someone was posting using my name to mock me, but to make a fairly straightforward comment... weird.

Pardon me - Boy! Is that the Chattanooga Choo-Choo? Track 29? Sure, you can give me a shine.

Who can afford to board the Chattanooga Choo CHoo? I've got my fare - and just a trifle to spare.

You leave the Pennsylvania station at a quarter to 4, You read a magazine, and then you're in Baltimore. Dinner in the Diner, nothing could be finer, Than to have your ham and eggs in Carolina.

When you here the whistle blowing, eight to the bar, then you know that Tennessee is not very far. Shovellin' all the coal in - gotta keep her rollin' Ooh, Ooh, Chattanooga, there you are...

There's gonna be a certain party at the station, Satin and Lace - I used to call "Funny Face".

She's gonna cry, unless I tell her that I'll never roam, Oh Chattanooga Choo Choo, won't you Choo CHoo me home.

That's okay. We already know she's called Eight.
