Regarding the "think before you code" message - Test Driven Development (TDD) is an excellent way to practice this (and you still get to code while you plan).

    "Stuff" is a tricky word.

It can be a verb, in which case "stuffs" is the third person singular form for the non-past tense.

It can be a stand-alone non-countable noun, in which case the concept of singular or plural doesn't apply, so we use what is superficially a singular form.

It can form part of a compound non-countable noun like "foodstuffs", which is always plural in form and usage.

"cloud stuffs", however, doesn't really meet any of those patterns, in which case one might be forgiven for suspecting a neologism.

And if you are going to pick on other people's use of language, you would do well to be very careful with your spelling.

The title on that speech for London has a typo. It should obviously be 'Through', not 'Thru'.

    It's a prudent plural.

And next thing you know, a “proof of concept” becomes production, and a team is stuck maintaining a legacy.
Which just means it has met the requirements of the business.

The only way to prevent "becoming a legacy in production" is to never meet the requirements of the business in the first place.
