It's not a WTF but the creep of retail terms to the public, like BOGOF now being widespread.
That on'es funny because "Bog off" is mildly offensive slang for go away. Exactly what the stores DON'T want you to do.
I've heard "Bug off", "Buzz off", "Piss off", and of course, "F*** off" -- but "Bog off" is a new one (maybe if one lives near a swamp?).

I do get it now!
Admin
Come on, you know these would be "Cadbury's Butt. Nutties" and "Butt. Pies"!

Conflict: Vietnam was a bad ass game. Much more fun than Denied Ops
Admin
your lame joke crits my goggles.
really... that game was deleted for a reason. im glad EBGames refund even for poor quality games. i should have known. a game that is released at 30$, while every other game hits the shelves at 80$.
Admin
One of my most favourite games is Defcon -- costing €14.50 / US-$19.50 for download or 3€/4$ more as boxed copy...
PS: Does anybody besides me think that the current captcha system has some unneccessary attack vector by changing the background colors but not the captcha-word every time I hit "Preview"?
Admin
The real WTF is that they still want $10 a copy.
Admin
An excellent reference to a classic Upright Citizens Brigade skit. Never thought I would see that happen here.

"A deleted item cannot be replenished by the POS."
POS... most accurate description of WalMart there is.
Admin
Ummm, I don't think there ever was a Word '98. But some idiot probably did still write a tutor for it! ;-)
Admin
They have printers at walmart? I'm impressed!
Admin
Yes, WalMart certainly is a large Point Of Sale, isn't it?
Admin
There was.... but only for the MAC

I got keepsake in a 5 pack of adventure games. Granted, it was a little weak for an adventure game, but it wasn't THAT bad. :/
Admin
Katamari Damaci. Came out for $20-$30 when everything else was $50. An excellent game for the ps2.
Admin
understanding sarcasm is apparently an acquired skill.
Admin
Keep your dirty deleted hands of keepsake, it's a great game ^^
CAPTCHA: haxor. Well, uxor really, but it's close!

I've used the phrase 'bog off' for years, usually instead of 'f--- off'. Ah, the nuances of being British. Long live the Queen and all that.

Walking in the middle of the motorway is EXACTLY the kind of stuff that goes on in China! As well as driving the wrong way down the motorway beeping, any kind of road in fact!! Even if your riding 5 up on a 50cc motorcycle you'd still have a go at crossing the motorway to reach the wrong traffic side and go that way!! No worries if the police are there!
Admin
In that case, no sign is offensive, it just makes you giggle.

Firstly, 'Mac' is not an acronym. It is short for 'Macintosh' and as such does not need to be written in capitals.
Secondly, you are correct Word 98 was "only for the MAC [sic]". It was the Mac version of Word 97. Mac versions of Microsoft Office are always a year after the corresponding PC version (so PC Office 97 = Mac Office 98, 2000 = 2001, 2003 = 2004, 2007 = 2008). Office XP (2002) for PC had no directly equivalent Mac version, although Office:Mac v.X was released about the same time.

It's photoshopped. The paper is curved but the text is flat. Still funny though.
Admin
No, but several Macs and boxed Linux sets were.
Try again.
Admin
The real WTF is that they want to sell crappy games at $10
Admin
I doubt it.

"Free Coasters"

BTW, Word '98? Yipes, that one might be of some use back at my mom's home ... her old Performa still runs Office '98! (And System 7.5, can't remember if this was before they changed the name to MacOS)

I should have added "Bugger off" too, that seems properly British, as in "Bloody 'ell, bugger off you wanker!" :-)

The paper is curved but the text is flat. Look at the paper it's on. There's a huge bend in the paper. The text would be distorted. It's not. It looks to me like text laid over the graphic.

I think you need to look closer.
Or go to an optometrist.
Admin
"Deleted" refers to the fact that it's been removed from their catalogue and they aren't going to be getting any more in, ever.
Admin
Meh, I'm (unfortunately) a hourly manager at a Wal-Mart. "Deleted" is one of the internal words to describe an item that is no longer on the shelf layout (the others "Non Tradeable" or "Inactive" aren't as easy on customers minds either). Department managers can either "flex" it into an unused space on the shelf or throw it somewhere like this and slap a big gaudy sign on it. The signage is created by a program on the terminals we use (quick way of printing sans-serif on a legal sized sheet). And trust me, as anal as wal-mart is with tracking sales, nothing is just lumped together (heck, there is procedure for making neat little custom made gift baskets for mothers/fathers day, etc.)
