I was gonna Frist, but then I remembered what kind of cunt that must necessarily make me.
Admin
If you had written something like ???GENERIC_FRIST_COMMENT??? then maybe people would have forgiven you.
Admin
17 C at 24Mm altitude - I buy it. It always seems to get a bit balmy in the near Earth region when a solar flare is passing by.
Admin
GENERIC_FRIST_CUNT ? Sounds yummy...
Admin
The Carnival thing...well that's a ski resort telling you how dangerous cruises are.
C
Admin
Those sly bastards, spreading FUD about a competing industry.
Much better would to be going into partnership with the cruise line; during those months outside of the skiing season, why not erect an artificial slope on the deck of some liner, and let people ski up and down the seas of the Caribbean?
Admin
???GENERIC_ERROR_MESSAGE???
This I imagine should be pronounced aloud, like
???EXTERMINATE???
Admin
Nobody uses Internet Explorer anyway. Or, at least Microsoft appears to think so.
Admin
80 million feet? They must have gone to orbit and turned off the engines to save fuel by coasting. The plane must be in the deccelerating phase when your friend took that photo.
Admin
The real WTF is Duke Nukem Forever for $39.99
Admin
Admin
The outside temperature will be increasing significantly when the plane goes through reentry.
Admin
"Isn't anyone at Microsoft doing QC anymore?" did they ever?
Admin
Admin
Nope, but you should worried about your grammar.
In any case, it's only up by a quarter-of-a-million percent, so if it was OK before it'll probably still be OK now.
Admin
Actually, I think that the 80 million feet is most likely accurate given that the graphic is obviously showing a Romulan "Bird of Prey" in near Earth orbit.

TRWTF is a computer person who doesn't understand E(xponent) notation. After receiving 0.05 points, Jay F. still has no points to spend. Okay, I'm assuming he's a computer person because he's submitting Errords here, but he clearly has no grasp of E notation if he writes "0.00000000000001E7" instead of "1.0E-7".
Yes, the programmer screwed up twice when he wrote: if (points_earned > 0) { but, they are pretty subtle and inconsequential in the context of a customer rewards program. Definitely not a WTF moment.
Admin
The cruise line pairing is actually brillant.
Admin
Although the Bing Bar / IE message may look like a WTF, it's really not. Obviously, the person had just upgraded to a newer version of IE, and the old Bing Bar wasn't marked as compatible with the newer IE -- hence the "check for updates" option.
Admin
So should you :-P
Admin
OK, it looks kinda funny, but if you actually navigate around the parker pens site, you'll notice that their actual warranty page is http://www.parkerpen.com/en-US/support/warranty
notice the first part after the host is a locale. the pl locale is what... polish? Check the site, it does not support polish, so yeah, you try to go to a polish version of a page that doesn't exist, and they won't find the correct resources to display the message... shocking!
Try the english version of that same page and it is a fairly sensible error message: http://www.parkerpen.com/en-US/possession/warranty
If this link was seen somewhere on the site, OK that is interesting, but you haven't linked to any page displaying that link so... I'm calling it: Not a WTF, you enter random URLs on a site, you get strange behaviour and that is OK
Admin
Admin
I'm pretty sure that is more of a syntactical error than a grammatical error. Discuss.
Admin
I'd be shitting my pants while considering the possibility that the data in the seat screen was being fed directly from the avionics computers.
Admin
Isn't using the Bing Bar, TRWTF?
Admin
Nothing wrong with bing bars.
[image]Bing bing bing!
Admin
Captcha: iusto: Iusto be worried about stuff like this before I became an engineer.
Admin
Admin
+1!! (for attempting to use QC and Microsoft in the same sentence)
Admin
The wording is TRWTF, then.
Admin
the true wtf is shoping on a parker website instead of penisland.com
Admin
That's AWESOME!!! Besides me, who else read this as 'penis land'???
Admin
???GENERIC_WITTY_COMMENT???
Admin
The difference between a typo and bad grammar: it is a typo when you are the typist, and bad grammar when the typist is someone else.

If I had a dolor for every time I had a typo...

Hey, my Grammar was cool. But you had to watch for Grampar if he'd been hitting the jugis a lot!

Bundle price more than individual pieces... sounds like the convenience fee my submetered utility company proffers.
(You want to pay online with a credit card? That'll be $5 added to your $40 bill.)
Admin
No, it should be +0.0000001E+07.
Admin
Almost a full thirty seconds passed before I properly separated those words. This (and expert sex change) is why you should check, check, and check again.
Admin
It's a very old joke indeed. Except it's technically not a joke because there really is a site www.penisland.net (not com) except it's unresponsive at the moment.
Admin
You might want to talk to your doctor about that. I do believe that they make pills that will help you.
Admin
A typo is when you can see what you did wrong - it's because your finger slipped. Bad grammar is when you can't see what you did wrong because you're stupid.
Admin
+1 :-))
Admin
... it does respond, just very sluggishly.
When you do finally get in, you get to read delightful headlines like: "Handling The Big Jobs, Too", and lines like, "Some of our skilled craftsman have been handling wood for over 25 years." "Many of our customers prefer to take on two or even three types of wood for one project." Hurr hurr hurr ...
Admin
"Q: Can I provide my own wood? A: In most cases we can handle your wood. We do require all shipments to be clean, free of parasites and pass all standard customs inspections."
Admin
Yes, PenIsland.com is a well known prank site. Tvtropes even named a trope after them! (Many of the real-life examples therein actually are unintentional, though there are also a lot of intentional ones.
Admin
What worries me about the flight screen is it's 80000001 ft in the air. That looks an awful lot like someone got an error value (code -2) and just stuffed it into an unsigned int and displayed it anyway. Except that would be 0x80000001, and the height is displayed in decimal... right?
Admin
I do believe that they are engaging in a potentially illegal points shaving scheme. I shall write a very firm letter demanding the full 0.0000000000000028 points that were reported missing!!!
