I keep getting form submissions (complete with captcha) like this for a site that is clearly non commercial and is running quite well thank you very much (second in Google for the main keyword)

Normally they get deleted... maybe not the next one!

  • JW (unregistered)

That felt a bit like reading one of David Thorne's ( 27bslash6.com ) stories. Although he is even meaner. :)

WOW! Best spam reply ever! How many times have I wanted to reply to a spam but never did it!

  • (cs)

I don't get it. Is the WTF that Alex spent so much time trolling/flirting with a spammer that most likely looks nothing like that picture?

  • Brian (unregistered)

Alex, your the beast. butt so men two amy to. OAMLFTOR.

  • Smug Unix User (unregistered)

It's a shame you couldn't succeed with Amy.

  • Optimizer (unregistered)

What I can't understand, is why anyone looking for Search Engine Optimization wouldn't just Google "Search Engine Optimization"!? Clearly if you can get to the top results for that, you're good at what you do and have no need to send spam to drum up business. Anyone else is just crappy in comparison.

So next time someone tries to sell you SEO, ask them where they rank when you search Google for "Search Engine Optimization". If its not on the first page, they obviously suck at what they do!

Not so fast. There's no guarantee that she looks like the picture. In fact, there's no guarantee that her real name's not Ralph.

Well her listed skills include "Working in a manner that prevents injury to self and others," so I'm guessing there's a story there. I bet her PHP code horribly disfigured someone and she just couldn't do it anymore.

If you go to a 4 year high school, and you count the two years that you spent at junior high school before that, there's your six.

'Course it's cheating, but we are talking about SEO spammers, so that's about expected, right?

(Yes, I know I'm the Englishman who lives in France. I also spent a number of years in the US, and for three of those years I was in high school.)
