    Unfortunately for this SQLSaturday, we have no plans to webcast. If someone wants to come and set up a camera for Alex's session, John and I certainly would be up for it.

    We organised this as part of our user group (www.snessug.org) so I would be adverse not to mention John Miner's (craftydba.com) contributions to the event as SNESSUG president :)

    Dude, come out the the Pacific North West (the PNW) one of these days! If ya can, Portland, OR. We have many DB professionals in the area who would enjoy the anti-DB design talks, with plenty of beer to wash down the sorrow!

    I thought the correct answer was 'cp -a' - keeping in mind that this is a theoretical, simple deployment. WTF kind of underlying assumptions does Alex have? (xcopy... that takes me back...)

    With SQLSAturdays Its a free community event by the community. No one gets paid for this. So we don't offer paid extra's. We basically do this on a shoe string budget. The only thing we are allowed to charge for in fact is a $10 bag lunch which is an optional expense when you register.

    That being said, If your in the Boston or RI area, drop by to both events if you can. NESQL meets in Cambridge at one of the microsoft offices. Its run by Adam Machanic, who wrote the awesome sp_whoisactive procedure.
