Can I just point out that saying "Australian ABC" is a bit like saying "PIN number". Sorry, slow day here, carry on...
I would have thought it was worthwhile distinguishing the Australian "American Broadcasting Company" from the American one, but maybe that's just me.
Except that it's 'Australian Broadcasting Corporation'.

Just because it's the same TLA doesn't mean it's the same words.

Wow, that joke is over fifteen years old! (It's also a ppc assembly instruction not really an errno, but we'll overlook that for now).

Actually, that list of error messages has this interesting tibit:
    — Macro: int EPROGUNAVAIL
    ??? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

There's an error message to tell you that a Professional Gun is Available? FPS support in the C library?

I think we need better docs -- does a BFG count? A nail gun? A gun with a flashlight duct-taped to it?

Yggdrasil is from Dan Simmons most excellent Hyperion / Cantos series of books.

I think, instead of 'throwed' like an illiterate, you should read it as 'throw-ed', olde-english style.

Yggdrasil is a hell of a lot older than Dan Simmons...

Um, the point is that the American ABC and the Australian ABC are not the same thing, and it's worth pointing out which one it is, especially when the majority if readers would probably have made the wrong guess.

I suspect that referring to it as the "Australian American Broadcasting Company" was what we refer to as a "joke", intended to elicit a humorous response.
