Does Canada use Celsius rather than Fahrenheit? If so, perhaps the temperature in the Detroit area is an unconverted Canadian reading. 28 degrees C is 82.4 degrees F.

Yes, only one country in the world uses Fahrenheit, and that's the US. <Cue massive amounts of comments why the Metric system is better>

That was obvious, but the thing that was new to me was that Detroit now belongs to Canada... That must have cost at *least* $10-20 Billion USD (eq. to $7.23 in Canadian Tire money).

It used to be called the Northwest in the days of the 13 colonies.

Addendum (2011-08-05 14:34): This is why we refer to the modern Northwest as the "Pacific Northwest". Even though an Atlantic Northwest makes absolutely no sense.

No, it was right. "espresso" is Italian (where that kind of coffee comes from) for "express". "expresso" is not a word.

I really hope you were being sarcastic, and that you actually noticed the Was price $30 lower than the Sale price.

Also usually potato. They are indeed quite delicious.

And I think the real wtf is people who voluntarily live in places where it gets over a hundred degrees on a regular basis ;). (Though yes, the American measurement system might also qualify for that.)

Indeed, all that leaves to be figured out is whether it's DirectPlay, Direct2D, Direct3D, DirectInput, DirectSound, DirectCompute, DirectMusic, DirectDraw.... and which resource within these API's failed to release.

They could have been more terse and said "program fall down go boom," however, without loss of information.

DX is also a fairly standard abbreviation for distance, so maybe it was a ffree after a fmalloc that failed? If something is distant, it certainly is far also.

We used to feed our dog on Melts - Pig's Melts. They're a big block of frozen organ meat that you boil up & chop. They smelt hideous, but to the dog they were like crack made of meat, he loved those chopped pig organs so much. Mind you - tuna melt with "american" cheese - yeugghh!

The place shown is not Detroit but London, Ontario. London is just south of Detroit. Really: if you start at Detroit and proceed directly south, you will find yourself in Canada.

The map is correct in a way but confusing, because it mixes Fahrenheit and Celsius, and because it includes only one Canadian city which is not obvious.
