    Yes but automating trivial tasks should be (and usually is) trivial. And an automated task is a task you don't have to spend time out of your day screwing around with.

    More code now = less code in the long run(And less of a lot of other shit too).

    We aren't talking about bug fixes though, we are talking about the logic.

    You're telling me that its better to re-write a function every year than to just automate it to begin with? From a "job-security-i-can-keep-billing-the-customer" point of view, then yes. Otherwise whats the point?
