    Error: FRISTDAY_NOT_FOUND

These are pretty good Error'ds today.

Isn't this just an extension of the "Click Start to stop.." logic?

"You know, you'd think they could find a better picture of Cyndi Lauper," writes Renan B.

A blog I frequent has occasion to talk about Andrea Dworkin:

There was one wag who would reliably show up in the comments remarking about how Ronnie James Dio had really let himself go.

The first image isn't a WTF.

While restoring the system it encountered a mp3 of Rebecca Black's Friday, and even Windows knows that song shouldn't exist.

I think the Gas Station sign doesn't actually say any prices, it just says 'Home of Oil' or something.

The Friday one isn't even correct. 8007/11/26 will be a Monday.

It's ok. Nobody here wanted to see it anyway.

The 1117034049 seconds one is fascinating. 1117034049 is 0x42949641 in hex. Recognize those digits? Yep, someone took 2^32 in decimal, dropped the last two digits, and then pretended it was in hex again and converted it back to decimal (and then 49 seconds elapsed before the screenshot was taken).

.... that one was yours wasn't it?

    Weakly typed languages strike again.

  • (disco) in reply to Protoman

I don't know. I tried to figure out the math, but I got stuck on the fact that 2^32 starts with the number 42, and my mind was blown.

I think that's about the tenth time that the MCP issue has been on Error'd.

Not after the Great Day-Renaming of 5089.

That's probably because half of Microsoft's web sites crap out more often than they work. We are talking about the company that released a new browser before they'd even made their own websites work with it... Derp.

But the MCP one is definitely specific and redundant.

I expect Windows Time decided yet again to step time at an inopportune moment, putting the anticipated settings reversion time into the past, and that there's a typo (an 0x where there shouldn't be one) in some probably-incorrect-anyway code that attempts to convert an unexpectedly negative time interval into an unsigned one.

    It's a cover version.
