    OTOH, given Make-A-Wish's combined inefficiencies of >40% of funds spent on fundraising activities with a set of beneficiaries orders of magnitude smaller than many other charities, donating to MAW over other causes would actually be a good way of living up to their name...

    What's wrong with February 2016? February is a (somewhat corrupted) Roman month name, so we might assume that 2016 is measured "ab urbe condita". The original airing was a bit before Guglielmo Marconi's great discovery, but so what.

    I agree. I don't think this is an error; I think this is right in line with their sense of humor. Although they will give philanthropically, they will also make jokes about selfishly keeping all their money, too. For example:

    In that context, "0% of proceeds donated..." seems like an intentional joke.
