I'm not sure how big Arkansas bears are, but I imagine 00-buckshot would be more than powerful enough. Bears in the U.S. aren't that big unless you're up in Alaska.

I think someone said chainsaw is not good choice of weapon for moving things. The chain could fall out easily.
And then you have no effective weapon in hand, and facing angry wounded bear.

So I had kind of a mental flush on this.
My first thought was to wonder if a shotgun would stop a bear...or just piss him off. (Bears are hard to kill.) Then I thought of the canonical "postal" employee...
Then I read the posts and more questions and thoughts flashed by. But in the end, I was left with one question that is not answered by the story. There is a post that touches on it, but only as a long future thought.
I want to know, right now:

That would Seriously mess a bear up. They're made of Unobtainium though.
