What are the odds that two of those subtotals are identical? I cannot imagine three or more being identical, so those two numbers must have been 45% of the total amount, which is probably a number with at least 7 digits before the comma, plus 2 following. That, or some of the numbers were not true sales figures, possibly fraudulent.

@Hanzito: Unless the report rounds to the nearest million, or hundred thousand, or something. Still unlikely, but it had been running for decades ...

If a department gets all its income from a handful of contracts with big businesses or governments for a few huge items per quarter, it could easily have sales that tend toward round numbers
