Ok, I'm not a big anime person so apparently my memory / interpretation of that particular motif was wrong.
I'm going with sweat drop then, it doesn't look angry.

Well, I mixed it up the irritation and embarrassment, somehow.
Which makes sense, because that's what sweat drop is, yes?
I don't watch anime much. And when I do it's stuff like Ghost in the Shell which doesn't go overboard with that kind of iconography. I'll try to remember though.
