The bigger problem than shopping to undefined? Shopping from China.

Addendum 2020-05-15 06:50: Shipping not shopping

It would appear the countries are sorted by their ISO 2-letter country abbreviations:

... MQ Martinique MR Mauritania MS Montserrat MT Malta MU Mauritius MV Maldives MW Malawi ...

NB: This is from a very VERY VERY** old copy of the official TLD list.

TRWTF is that someone actually buys products like David showed.

The words "meat" and "enema" should never, ever appear next to one another.

  • (nodebb) in reply to Scott

Actually [....] TRWTF is that Amazon sells it for your choice of $9 to $ 30 USD.

Minor pet peeve: "can not" != "cannot".

Assuming the submitter going to LTH (https://www.lth.se/english/) is an engineering student:

Know this my friend: Once you go beyond LTH your life is in large parts undefined. Your job will be to define it - or provide content for this site.

    "can not" != "cannot".

    Found the python programmer :-)

So the idea being that "can not" means that the person is capable of avoiding doing something but could do it if they wished, but "cannot" means that they are not capable of doing something even if they wanted to? Interesting.

So then, is "can't" equivalent to "can not", or "cannot"?

  • (nodebb) in reply to Watson

Agreed. Any vendor which cannot not deliver to undefined would be a poor choice.

  • (nodebb)

Hmm, logic chain: Undefined is the result of dividing by 0, where the dividend is not 0. 0/0 is indefinite, but limits can help you determine which 0/0 you are dealing with. So what happens when your measurement divides by 0? You get a singularity. Therefore, this product is supposed to get delivered to a black hole, and not that cave in India. The closest cosmic black hole is probably (hopefully) outside their delivery range.

You are not content with 5% ? You really should learn the shipping basics!

Wow, good detective work! I tried to think of some way in which that would class as "sorted" but didn't think of country codes.

I don't see the WTF, clearly undefined is a place in Sweden and the online store can't ship there.

Where is your sense of adventure. Just see where undefined is.

A tip I once got from an old hippy:" If ever given the choice between two equals. Chose the one which will give you the best story to tell."

The country lists are also fun if you use a foreign website that has a country pull-down option list and it's sorted in the host countries language before showing the countries in English... Or worse still, having the English website but having some of the countries in England and some in the local language....
