Right, say the following ten times quickly:
There are expected exceptions that we expect.
There are expected exceptions that we don't expect.
There are unexpected exceptions that we expect.
And then there are unexpected exceptions that we don't expect.
Admin
what's wrong with the last one?
Admin
Maybe someone is upset that it rounded things to 2 decimal places and therefore looks like it is "missing" 0.01 % ? There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the last one...
Admin
Agree.
Admin
TRWTF is pricing a foulard to four decimal places. //runs off to put a US cent into a sheet metal cutter
Admin
A little tiny amount of rounding error is all I can see.
Admin
Ummm... if your system doesn't have at least four-9s availability, nobody is going to pay for it.

FOUBTF !

Prepare for .... [wet inhale]... unforeseen consequences, Dr. Tables.

82 - (-7) doesn't have to equal 22. Your stop is #15.
Admin
No, don't see what's wrong with the A/C one.

The PiPi: German "pipi" means pee, both in "pipi müssen" for having to pee, "pipi machen" or "pipi gehen" to go peeing, or "das Pipi" (also: "die Pipi") as a noun for pee.

@I can be a robot ...
The "joke" is the Chinese as a native language UI uses the term "PiPi". That's (misspelled) US slang for urine/urinating. Hence the intro sentence about toilets & TP.
A petty juvenile effort, unworthy of WTF. But apparently enough to fool the exceedingly literal amongst the audience.

100% uptime? That's no good, it has to be 99.9999 (and I'd bet that's been said at plenty of places)
Admin
The PiPi one is just engrish. You could fill an entire blog with that. And in fact there are at least two!

I remember my niece and nephew sniggering when I told them I'd been to ko phi phi while visiting Thailand. And they were in their early 20s!
Admin
You mean: covfefe?
Admin
Not sure why you would say that (many millions of Steam users prove you wrong), but here are some figures for reference:
0.7% downtime over a year is an impressive 2 1/2 days 0.1% downtime ("three nines availability") over a year is ~8:46 hours 0.01% downtime ("four nines availability") over a year is ~0:53 minutes
Addendum 2019-09-25 09:57: oops, 0:53 hours or 53 minutes obviously
