This USB disk enclosure is ready for supper

I wonder which version of "supper" it's ready for.

UK: in areas that use the word, it usually means "bedtime snack".

US: in areas that use the word, in my experience, you can find it meaning "the evening meal" == "dinner".

That hat is epic. I wonder if it's a failure in the automatic generation of a sample picture, or if the actual hat has the misprint on it and they have thousands of them.

If your team loses, it's Bedtime For Boncos.

That's how collector's items are made.

Just how many proofreaders did that hat go by and they all missed the missing R? Line worker: Hey, boss! I think the text on this band is spelled wrong. Manager: Compare it to the work order form. Does it match what was ordered? Line worker: Yeah, but take a look at that. Manager: Hmm, give me a sec. Yup, it matches the sales order, so got with it. The customer wanted it that way, so that is what they get.

My guess is none. Nobody bothers with having proofreaders anymore. Our local newspaper sometimes has typos in the top-of-the-front-page headline that would have been flagged by a rudimentary computer spellchecker. Just nobody cares anymore.

re: search for "hdmi" ... somehow the "dmi" in "Admiral" and "Admit" are considered a match? And, for left-to-right locales, those items are shown in the more prominent positions, before the actual "hdmi" products ... Maybe someone will chime in and explain the sophisticated matching algorithm.

I looked at the "Boncos" wtf and my brain just fixed it. Only until the comments section did I notice it.

None of my paints seem to support HDMI.

You need to get a paint with 'admi' in the color name. It's a simple 'sounds like' comparison thing (possibly using Damerau-Levenshtein distance). Admi sounds like HDMI, so it matches :) Not sure if plugging the lead into your paint will be very productive though...

    Might be time to upgrade

The shat people need to get butter poofreaders.

I find spelling and grammatical mistakes everywhere these days. It's just another manifestation of crumbling infrastructure. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
