Shouldn't the personalized pitch have been ${city:capitalized} ${gender:ManWoman} Saves Big Time on ${gender:HisHers} Bills (Try This 2 Minute Method)
Admin
What's wrong with the Lenovo one? They do offer dummy hard drives, to fill the empty space (where two types of hdd are available, and only one chosen) inside the case and increase the rigidity of the laptop.
Admin
Quite frankly, the main WTF in the last one is that Simon reads Kotaku, aka Clickbaits 'R' Us.
Admin
Man woman, his hers? How about the other 72 genders in your template?
Admin
That Jojo Rabbit one? I don't know what the biggest WTF is, a wall mount for a DVD box or charging for free delivery!

SOUP was a real protocol, somewhat popular in the 90s dialup days: the Simple Offline Usenet Protocol.
Addendum 2020-04-03 11:34: OK, technically it wasn't a protocol, just a file format. You made the SOUP packet on your remote shell account and then transferred it to your machine, usually with Zmodem or Kermit; you used your offline reader on the packet, then it exported a reply packet with anything you'd followed up to; you uploaded that packet back to the shell account and processed it there, where it posted your followups.

I have never heard of PHP's sizeof() function, and I'm a senior PHP developer.
Admin
They're not charging for free delivery.
It's simply saying "spend another $x.xx to qualify for free delivery"; i.e. delivery is free when you spend over $35 in one transaction.
Admin
Well, you can have delivery for $5.99 or free delivery for $5.04. I know which I'd go for!
Admin
Count me among those who don't understand the Lenovo one. A dummy hard drive exists for mechanical reasons, not for electronic ones.
Admin
You can either pay $5.99 for shipping, or adding something worth at least $5.04 to your cart and not pay shipping. Not really a WTF.
Admin
The 'none' option is the perplexing one.
Admin
That an sneaker net, where you walked the floppy disk around to the recipient.
Admin
What is perplexing there?
Admin
No Soup for UI!
Admin
"None" means nothing in the drive bay. What's the problem?
Admin
They mean that if you add $5.04 more to your cart, it will be at least $35 and qualify for free delivery...
Admin
You win the internet.
Admin
If your purchased items total >= $35, you get free delivery. Not that hard to figure out.
Admin
Or pick it up for free at the local Walmart, which is the option that was eventually picked. Back when it was relatively safe to do so.
