I can say with certainty that neither Coors Light nor Molson Canadian rock.

  • Next Century (unregistered)

iirc that "remind me next century" thing is also on Avast antivirus

What's a good anti virus package? I've been using AVG since it was free, but perhaps it's time to move on. I've heard horror-stories about McAfee, and I don't want Norton. Suggestions?

Maybe Molson Canadian pebbles, but Coors Light doesn't even gravel.

    Use a mac?

More seriously though, on my windows machines Ive changed quite a bit. I usually just install whatever is considered best for that year when I do an new windows install (google "best free antivirus 2019) as it usually changes yearly.

Over the years, Ive used AVG, Avast, Avira; done a few Kaspersky installs for others (never used it myself due to Russian connections).

"next century" is almost, but not quite, like "never" (which I find to be a useful option, on occasion).

That said: A developer with a sense of humour? One every 100 years "next century" is tomorrow... (think of the fun that can be had with "next millennium")

Unlike "don't" or "they're", "can't" actually becomes a different, valid word when it is stripped of its apostrophe. So when trying to parse "cant cancel" I am coming up with all sorts of bizarre interpretations.

Rather than using a Mac, I'd rather 1) drink tea with old ladies, while 2) watching a south American soap opera in Spanish, and 3) have anthrax, at the same time. And I'm well aware of how bad Windows was, is and probably will be

An when will the next century start? On 01/01/2100 or 01/01/2101? The frist is the usual off-by-one by laymen and lawyers, the other if you think of groups of 100 years as a century.

    Use Linux on your PC?

Actually, I do that for about 25 years now. Missed something about every 5 years, but never had a thought about viruses.

It could have been the beer that was set up to rock, but it will probably be the colored water.

I think Avast has the same message - well, they're AVG's parent company. But it's something they've been doing for a while now and frankly it beats Windows' "we're gonna restart NOW and there's nothing you can do about it" approach by a thousand miles.

Thanks, I'll bear your advice in mind. Cheers.
