    I think TheDailyWTF should have a resolution to make a proper edit facility for the comment section, or at least, rename "edit" to "add a bit more" or perhaps "and another thing".

    I support this suggestion 100%.

    Call it the Columbo button.

    "Oh, just one more thing..."

    Yeah, I agree. A Major improvement would be proper editing functionality, but I can live with renaming the current button to "Edit WTF?" and adding an PREVIEW button generally cause most of the time its markdown formating errors that would need editing.

    A link with what markdown is supported would be helpful too.

    I will finally kill myself this year and let my moronic "colleagues" try to pollute the science less efficiently. As far as resolutions go, that's the only thing I managed to find.

    I wouldn't mind having the site keep track of which articles and comments I've read and which ones are new, instead of having to guess.

    This.

    I wrote in about this a little while back and was (predictably) completely ignored.

    For some time now I’ve had a custom CSS rule (in Stylus) to restore the missing visited link colours:

    #navigation-items a:visited, .article-footer a:visited, a.link-overlay:visited + h2 { color: rebeccapurple !important; }

    Unfortunately the last selector doesn’t seem to work in any browser, so the article names cannot be marked as visited. The caption is physically outside of the link!
