I am guessing that, for the Microsoft Canada store, when determining PCs under $500, they are converting the CAD price to USD, as $649 CAD is roughly $480 USD. Or, perhaps, the MSRP US price is under $500, and they only maintain a single list of PCs under $500 for both US and Canada, even though the Canadian price can be greater.

Not really a justification, just an explanation.

OK leave it to the germans to over engineer toilets. And who thought having people touch screens at a public restroom is a good idea? Even leaving coronavirus aside.

@TheJayMann I thought the same thing. The one time I have a reason to post a comment and the first comment was basically my comment.

It's probably just used to show TV events or maybe ads while you're relieving yourself. The US has TVs in stalls in a lot of restaurants and such, although not usually directly in the urinal like that.

Luckily, €s are €s everywhere. Like things like gallons and the likes, you always have to specify what dollar you are talking about. It's so typically self-centered to just assume they will all be of the US type...

Why does everyone automatically assume it's a urinal with a tv in it? It might just as well be a tv with a urinal built-in. That makes much more sense to me...

For the last screen shot, from a phone, I am reminded of https://xkcd.com/1373/

I prefer to think they found some early Pentiums to put in there.

So you can aim your stream at ads you don’t like?

@Mr. TA: I suspect you've misspelled "Swiss" there.

As to the others, I'd certainly enjoy pissing directly on the advertising. Ubiquitous moving screens or holo-ads were a persistent feature of future dystopian fiction for a reason. And here we are in 2020, surrounded by the damn things.

If it's a TV I think most of us would enjoy pissing on it if it was tuned to the news.
