LOL, McLoving it. And peds48 has 36.2 kiloPosts (ahem, sorry, KiloPosts) from before Cingular rebranded as AT&T. Probably over a 36.2 KPps modem.

Typing Combinazione into (American) Wikipedia search box gives the same Barbara d'Urso result, so maybe not a WTF.

Antonio most likely pasted this search link into Teams: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?go=Go&search=Combinazione&ns0=1 , not the actual Italian Wikipedia article.

The preview that Teams displayed is exactly what the search results show. Not a WTF.

The question is why is Teams showing search results rather than the specific link provided...

  • (nodebb) in reply to Anonymous') OR 1=1; DROP TABLE wtf; --

I assumed Antonio posted the exact link shown above the photo.

Yeah, that one is a head scratcher. Antonio's screen capture shows the URL is the Italian wiki, not the Wiki search result. I just tried it in Teams and I got the correct preview.

Had you bothered to take even a cursory glance you would know that the link you provided does not match the link that was pasted into Teams and doesn't match the link that was provided in the text. Following that link does not return the link that was provided by teams. Poster could certainly could be lying but that is mere speculation.

The MSN entry reminds of something from Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore.

Captain: I am never known to quail At the fury of a gale, And I'm never, never sick at sea! Men: What, never? Cap: No, never! Men: What, never...? Cap: Well.... Hardly ever!

I don't think Antonio doctored that screenshot. The same thing happened to me in teams the other day. I pasted a Wikipedia URL from the address bar into teams and the preview was for a completely different article. Something screwy is happening with the link previews
