What is this "H1red" you wrote about? I am unable to find it on the internet. Can you please provide a link? Or fscking four of them?

  • MiserableOldGit (unregistered)

Oh, yawn, someone watch it and give me the edited highlights. Streaming is blocked here, I suppose I could get round it, but I'm not convinced it will be worth the effort.

  • Someone (unregistered)

You forgot to put a link for the third mention of "Hired".

  • Unhelpful (unregistered)

I'm not bothered about sponsored posts once in a while. Gotta pay the bills, and it's better than adwords and friends. Not many entries in PrivacyBadger for an articles-based site, either.

I do feel like that HIRED graphic could have been pure HTML with a bit of inline style, though.

also, this reminds me of a short-story i read called "Battlemagic for morons"...

agree, the video is not really entertaining nor funny

  • Ulysses (unregistered)

'occassional', ahahaha. I think Remy just proved he's still human. The vid is at best tangential to the site and should have had more punch. I did like how the prompts all had one choice disabled.

Would you like a Blattfruit Pie with that??

    DAMNIT, WHY WON'T IT READ!!!

In my capacity as Digital Representative of the Great Old Ones, it is my duty to officially thank TDWTF for the number of souls brought to our cause by this video.

I have to add, though, that this number did not meet our expectations, since most viewers already had forsworn their souls to me during earlier encounters. If TDWTF wants our continued support, they are strongly advised to fulfil their quota.

As a personal remark, I also want to point out that the video does not accurately depict reality. We are actually way cooler than that.

  • ExceptionHandler (unregistered)

Im inclined to agree: the video wasn't that entertaining. I do like the idea, but was expecting something more like radio wtf, except in video form... this felt more like a trailer for a bad movie.

  • LessVideoMoreConversationPlease (unregistered)

This was pretty awful. I'd just recycle classics if I were you. I regret the 4 minutes I wasted.

  • Benjamin (unregistered)

I'm impressed that your mother not only let you come out of the basement, but even agreed to be in your video.

  • Ex-lurker (unregistered)

I don't hate the video and I actually enjoyed the premise, but I feel like camera angles really weren't handled how they should be.

It still would be forgivable except for the annoying popup sound. Dear god, what a loud and obnoxious sound that was. I was using my earphones and I had to dial down the volume whenever I believed that thing would play again, lest I go deaf. And berserk.

  • eric bloedow (unregistered) in reply to jmm

oh, you made me think of a you-tube video where someone is reading a story: "femurs erupted from the hole in her head-hang on, what?.......EEEEEEW, EW,EW! (author) is horrible!...Jeesus H. Christ on a f***ing pogo stick, what is WRONG with you, woman?!"

  • Axel (unregistered)

So HIRED used the short film "Hired!" in its ad. How clever!

For those of you who don't know, "Hired!" was a goofy training film made by Jam Handy (that's what he called himself, anyway) for Chevrolet salesmen. It tells the tale of a newly-hired salesman who just didn't know how to sell a car, his frustrated boss, and his boss's really weird father. It re-entered the American zeitgeist when Mystery Science Theater 3000 lampooned it over a 2-episode span (they used it as filler).

The thing that really struck me: apparently, they used to sell cars door-to-door. That, and the father covering his head with a handkerchief to keep the mosquitos off (WTF?).
