I think George would make a fine contestant for the " :wtf: Of The Year" award

Then again, who authorised the rollout?

Why does the A appear and the PIT become a PID?

There’s no PID_3016 here, but there are two missile launchers!

  • (disco) in reply to VinDuv

And they both fail to launch when called upon because they are connected through a USB hub and libusb fails to handle them properly...

Judging by what happened at my last place with those crappy Nerf dart pistols, I'm inclined to agree.

No, @accalia just sucks at proper markdown syntax image link is fixed

Chesen Electronics Corp. Apparently it makes consumer devices too...Not sure how missile launcher comes

(edit) Turns out the missile launcher is a toy, according to google.

  • (disco)

What made them think the “parking lot thumb drives” would be specially manufactured with their own unique IDs? Wouldn’t they more likely be standard consumer sticks with malware added? If someone were manufacturing malware sticks at a factory, what’s stopping them from using someone else’s innocuous ID?

If the company is that worried about clueless employees plugging in random shit they found lying on the street, step 1 is issue a policy of “Thou Shalt Not Do That Or Thou Art Fired.” Step 2 is install physical port locks. Step 3, if necessary, is epoxy.

Probably for the same reason as all the other typos and grammatical errors from incomplete edits are there in the same post.

That falls on January 0, right?

Only on years that are a multiple of 2.
