To be fair, "space for name" on a hemorrhoid ointment applicator doesn't sound like such a bad idea...

Tim buys his laptop and then buys a truck instead of a backpack ro carry it around. LOL

Great that refills for that "pen" are available. In black and red, no less! (blue is apparently more suited for school)

Good old cycle of consumerism... First you buy a laptop, then you buy a truck to carry the laptop, now you need a house with a bigger garage to park your truck, then in the new house there's too much space so you need a bigger sofa.. and on it goes!

How much is shipping on a 1350kg laptop?

• TRWTF (unregistered)

kilograms are mass, not weight!

• A. Glez. B. (unregistered) in reply to Kleyguerth

You forgot the composite honeycomb desktop. This is not the kind of laptop you rest on your legs :D

Not sure what your point is? How do you convert mass to pounds? Convert the mass measured in kilograms to the mass in pounds. One kilogram is equal to 2.20462262 pounds. Therefore, to convert kilograms to pounds, multiply the kilogram value by 2.20462262. 1350* 2.20462262 = 2976 pounds Heavier than a Chevy Spark. 😀

Assume for a moment that we're on the surface of planet Earth, where gravity is almost constant. Given that, the conversion of mass to weight isn't too difficult.

There'll be an extra charge for shipping to outer space.

Its a good thing that laptop didn't have an optical drive, imagine how much more it would weigh!

Also I am surprised that O'Reilly doesn't have a yoga book yet. Perhaps I should create a programming language called Yoga. It would follow a grand tradition of programming languages named with common words like Go, Rust, Python, Ruby, and Swift that make web searches "interesting".

I'm pretty sure the laptop is the truck. Or at least a car. Perhaps one driven by David Hasselhoff?
